Privacy policy

There are no accounts, and nothing you do on the chart is sent to us.

What stays in your browser

Your chart settings (such as open-hole or closed-hole, light or dark mode, and the notes you know on the songs page) are saved in your browser's local storage so they are there next time. They are never sent to a server. Clearing your browser data removes them.

Sound

Notes are generated in your browser. Future tools that use your microphone, such as a tuner, will ask permission first, work only after you tap, and will not record or upload audio.

Analytics and ads

We use Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages are useful. It runs only if you accept cookies in the banner, and it is off until then. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer. This site shows no ads. Pages for children will not carry ads aimed at children.

Messages you send us

If you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can reply. We use it only for that purpose and do not sell or share it.

Cookies and third parties

Without your consent we set no cookies. If you accept, Google Analytics sets cookies that collect anonymous usage data such as pages viewed and approximate location, handled by Google under its privacy policy. Declining has no effect on how the chart works.

Affiliate links

If buying links are added, pages with them will say so clearly.
